Thank you for your interest in visiting Mountain Scholars Latin Heritage School.  Classroom visits are an important part of the decision-making process for parents considering Mountain Scholars.

Please take a moment to understand our policy, and then if you are interested in scheduling a visit, contact Shawna Barr by email at shawnabarr@mountainscholars.com

Who May Request a Visit:

Mountain Scholars offers observational visits to parents with students who are eligible to enter Levels A-Logic the following school term.

Scheduling your Visit:

Observational visits must be arranged at least one week in advance, and may be scheduled in the month of November or January – April.

Visit Times and Duration:

Visits are scheduled between 8:15 AM and 11:00 AM at our Lower Campus and 8:00 AM and 11:00 at our Upper Campus, for a duration of 30 minutes.  During this time, prospective families will tour the campus with the Head of School and stop into each classroom to observe for about 5-10 minutes.

Our classrooms are small and teacher directed.  Unlike a modern classroom that is spacious with students roaming, choosing, and working independently, our students sit at desks, face the teacher, and work with the teacher, at her direction. There is no opportunity for guests to directly interact with students during class time, but guests may simply observe from the back.

Children During Visits:

Observational visits are limited to adults only please.
