Statement of Faith

I. WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; who created all, upholds all, and governs all.

II. WE BELIEVE GOD THE FATHER is infinite, eternal, and personal, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love; that He reigns sovereignly with all authority, and concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men.

III. WE BELIEVE that JESUS CHRIST is God the Son, fully God and fully Man.  We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into Heaven, and His ultimate, personal, return in power and glory.

IV. WE BELIEVE the HOLY SPIRIT is God, who bears witness to the truth, convicts the world of sin, reveals the righteousness of God, and brings awareness of the judgment of God upon sin, and ultimately regenerates, sanctifies, empowers, and seals all who believe in Jesus Christ; that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide.

V. WE BELIEVE the Holy Bible is the infallible, inspired, Word of God, the first and final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

VII. WE BELIEVE that all people have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory and perfect standard of righteousness.  As such, they are lost and under judgment for their sin, and left to themselves will be eternally separated from God in Hell.  We believe that salvation and forgiveness is only found by grace through repentant faith in Jesus Christ, His finished work on the Cross, and His resurrection which leads to eternal life in Heaven

VIII. WE BELIEVE that the Church is composed of all true believers in Jesus Christ.  All believers are united to Him and to one another by the indwelling Holy Spirit.  The Church is the living Body of Christ and Christians should desire to pursue unity with one another as a witness of His unconditional love towards humanity.

Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality

WE BELIEVE that God created human beings as either male or female, and that God created men and women as unique biological genetic persons made to complement each other. We believe God’s plan for human sexuality is to be expressed only within the context of monogamous marriage, between one biological genetic male and one biological genetic female.
